Closing shift is necessary to make sure that all the transactions in a certain shift are saved and tallied properly. To close a shift, the user may select the three-dotted line on the upper right corner of the app and click on "Close Shift".

A detailed breakdown of the transactions made for that shift is shown such as total product sales, returned credits, vouchers usage, opening balance, etc depending on the role of the staff.

Note: TOP-UP AND RETURN CREDIT STAFF must make sure that their "Expected Ending Cash" is tallied with their actual onhand cash. Otherwise, staff may review the transactions to check if there is an undercharged or an overcharged transaction.

To double check that the shift is already closed, the user may select to "Sales Shifts and Transactions" and check the shift. A green check will appear beside the Date of the Shift which means that the shift is successfully closed.
